I love title sequences, not sure why. Maybe it's the infusion of design and storytelling in a consolidated moment to help set the tone. Thanks to Ali Clark and Window Pictures who brought me on to help. World Premiering at SXSW in 2017, this feature documentary explores the life and work of electronic music pioneer Suzanne Ciani. We took an abstract and illustrated approach to visualizing the sound and tools she used throughout her career. Buchlas, Moog, modular synths, oscillators, nothing was off limits to help viewers take a small step into her world.
